Spanish coach Carlos González, head coach of Muaither Sports Club’s first football team, confirmed that the team is ready for its opening match in the Jetur QSL 2 League against Mesaimeer. He noted that the team had a good preparation period, during which the technical staff worked to ensure the players were fully prepared for the start of the season.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference, González said: “Our preparations have been good, and we have worked hard during the past period to prepare the team in all aspects. We are ready for the first match, we understand the importance of making a strong start, and we are looking forward to delivering a good performance and achieving the result we are aiming for.”
The Muaither coach explained that the team will approach the match with the objective of securing victory and all three points, while also stressing his respect for Mesaimeer.
He said: “Our objective is to win, as it is in every match we play. We respect Mesaimeer and know that they are a strong team, but our focus will be on our own capabilities and implementing our playing style properly in order to make a positive start to the league.”
Regarding his message to the players ahead of the beginning of the campaign, González said: “I ask the players to believe in themselves, remain united on the pitch, and fight for the Muaither badge in every match. They must maintain their focus and discipline, and every player must give his best.”
For his part, Muaither player Mohammed Rabie confirmed that the team has prepared well for the new season, noting that the players made significant efforts throughout the preparation period to reach the best possible level of readiness before the start of the competition.
Mohammed Rabie said: “Our preparations have been good, and everyone has worked hard during the past period. There is great enthusiasm ahead of the first match, and we are looking forward to delivering a performance worthy of Muaither Sports Club and making a successful start to the league.”
He added: “We expect a tough match against Mesaimeer, especially as both teams will be looking for a positive start. The most important thing for us is to stay focused, follow the coach’s instructions, and play with a strong team spirit. If we manage to do that, God willing, we will be capable of achieving victory.”
Rabie concluded: “We must enter the match with full concentration, follow the coach’s instructions, and fight on the pitch in order to perform at our best and achieve the result we are aiming for.”
