Muaither Sports Club was established in the State of Qatar for an indefinite period and was officially recognized based on the decision of the President of the General Authority for Youth and Sports No. (50) of 1998 (Announcement No. 16) under the name “Al Shabab Sports Club” in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (5) of 1984 and its amendments.
The club’s statute was amended based on the decision of the President of the General Authority for Youth and Sports No. (10) of 2000. The club’s name was later changed to “Muaither Sports Club” based on the decision of the Vice President of the Qatar National Olympic Committee No. (27) of 2004. The club then adjusted its status in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (11) of 2011 regulating sports clubs, following the unified statute model for sports clubs issued by Decision No. (254) of 2012 and its amendments. The club further adjusted its status in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (1) of 2016 regulating sports clubs, following the guiding statute model for sports clubs issued by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
