Spanish coach Carlos González, head coach of Muaither Sports Club’s first football team, confirmed the team’s readiness for the upcoming match against Al Rayyan Next Generation, stressing the importance of learning from the opening match and correcting mistakes in order to deliver an improved performance and achieve the desired result.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, González said:
“We learned from the lessons of the first match and worked hard to correct our mistakes. Our performance and character on the pitch will be key to securing the victory.”
The Muaither coach added:
“I trust the players’ reaction and their ability to deliver the required level and secure our first three points.”
He also expressed his confidence in the squad and their determination to respond strongly and achieve a positive result.
For his part, first-team player Mark Marwickos confirmed that the players are fully prepared for the challenge, saying:
“We are ready for the match. Our objective is to come back strongly and secure the victory. We know that we need to minimise mistakes and show the quality we have on the pitch.”
Marwickos also highlighted the continued improvement in understanding and chemistry among the players, adding:
