Our first football team lost to Al Kharaitiyat Club 3-2 in a match held this evening at Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium, Qatar SC, as part of the twelfth round of the Second Division League. This result left our team at 10 points, in sixth place, with Mariano Vázquez scoring both goals.
The match began calmly between the two teams, with players passing the ball between themselves without posing any significant threat to either goalkeeper’s goal.
As time passed, the pace of the match gradually increased, with a few attempts on goal, but these did not pose any significant threat.
In the tenth minute, our striker, Abdulaziz Adel, wasted a one-on-one with the Al Kharaitiyat goalkeeper, but he failed to capitalize on the opportunity. The Al Kharaitiyat defender was able to deflect the ball for a corner kick, thus wasting our team’s chance to take the lead.
