Our first football team tied with its counterpart Al-Waab with two goals for each team, in a match held this evening at Thani bin Jassim Stadium at Al-Gharafa Club, as part of the ninth week of the Second Division League. With this tie, our team raised its score to 7 points in seventh place, with a goal difference from Al-Waab, which is in eighth and last place. Our team’s goals were scored by Amjad Salah and Abdul Aziz Adel.
The match started quietly between the two teams without any serious attacks on the goalkeepers’ goal.
As our team quickly imposed its superiority on the course of the match, seeking to enter strongly and score the first goal, Youssef Al-Yahri almost opened the scoring after he shot a weak ball from inside the box that passed next to the post of Al-Waab goalkeeper Mohammed Kharoub.
Our team’s attempts to score the first goal continued, this time through Talal Munir, who took advantage of a wrong header from one of Al-Waab’s players towards his goalkeeper, to pounce on the ball and shoot it forcefully, but it hit the post and the opportunity to advance was lost. The attempts did not stop there, as Abdul Aziz Adel almost scored a wonderful goal with a direct shot from inside the penalty area after receiving a cross from Munqidh Mohammed, but his ball went over the crossbar, wasting another sure goal for our team.
Our team relies in its attacks on the movements of Talal Munir, Abdul Aziz Adel, and Munqidh Mohammed, supported from behind by Youssef Sabri Al-Yahri, but without translating that into goals.
Contrary to the course of the game, Al-Waab managed to score the first goal in the 27th minute through Mohammed Sobhi Mustafa, who took advantage of a perfect pass from his teammate Amir Rostaei and put the ball in the net, so Al-Waab advanced with a goal without a response.
Our team continues its attempts to achieve the equalizer, but without posing a real threat to goalkeeper Mohammed Kharoub’s goal.
Our team managed to equalize the score in the (45+2) minute through Amjad Salah, who shot the ball on the fly in a wonderful way, taking advantage of a perfect cross from Munqidh Mohammed, and thus the score became 1-1, before the referee blew his whistle announcing the end of the first half.
The second half started at a calm and cautious pace, with our team having an advantage over the course of the game, but without any noteworthy attempts from either side.
Our team strengthened its lead with a second goal in the 53rd minute, scored by Abdul Aziz Adel with a perfect header after a wonderful cross from Talal Munir, raising the score to 2-1 in favor of our team against Al-Waab.

Our team continued its offensive attempts in search of a third goal to decide the match, but without posing any real danger.
